November 2011 – March 2012, BizClim - Identification of business environment issues in the Pacific region: This project will see the organising of a two-day engagement workshop in Port Vila, Vanuatu. Representatives from regional government agencies and private sector institutions will meet in order to discuss and assess the business climate issues in the Pacific and Vanuatu. August 2011 – August 2015, TMEA - Support to the Ministry of East African Community Affairs (MEACA) in Uganda: Specifically, this project will design and implement a package of support for regional economic integration to MEACA and other ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) in Uganda. Imani has a team of 6 long-term experts, supplemented by a number of short-term experts, implementing the project in Kampala. February 2010-June 2013, DFID – Business Innovation Facility Management Services: The Business Innovation Facility is a three year DfID funded pilot programme to facilitate inclusive business projects through technical consultancy inputs and learn from the results. The project is being implemented in five developing countries. Imani are leading the project in Malawi and Zambia. 2010 – 2011, ACP - Implementation of WTO Decision on Public Health: Imani provided technical assistance to the ACP Secretariat in promoting access to pharmaceutical products in COMESA through regional production, trade, bulk purchasing and importation and developed a work program for utilizing flexibilities in the TRIPS agreement. 2010-2013, AusAid – Technical Support to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Government of the Lao PDR: The main objective is to assist the Ministry to strengthen policy development, coordination and implementation of Trade strategy. October 2010 – March 2011, EAC Secretariat - EAC Trade Facilitation Desk: The purpose of this project was to support selected Private Sector Intermediary Organisations (IOs) in the EAC region to identify, understand, and relay relevant information to exporting companies. October 2010 – May 2011, ProInvest - Southern Africa Observatory: The ‘Southern Africa – Sectoral & Thematic Observatory’ project aims at building a knowledge center for the Southern Africa Region. The objectives are to improve the capacity of ACP Intermediary Organisations by enhancing their knowledge and understanding of global ACP private sector development issues in order to better address them. May – July 2011, AFDB - Framework for Private Sector on Trade Policy Issues: In partnership with SAIIA and NBF. October 2010 – December 2010, Tradecom – Technical Support to Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Commerce and Industry: Technical Assistance to Trinidad & Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce to provide a study on Trade Opportunities under EPA for the private sector in T&T, P182.
