Imani Development provides a full range of project management services from project design to monitoring and evaluation. Our expertise in project cycle management and our exposure to multiple international donors not only ensures the smooth flow of our more technical projects but also qualifies us to work on project design and external evaluation. For example, Imani Development was contracted by DFID to undertake the design, monitoring and evaluation of its Africa Trade and Poverty Programme, with national programmes being designed, monitored and evaluated in twelve countries across Africa.

Projects submitted to multilateral and bilateral funding agencies generally need to be supported by feasibility studies as part of the appraisal process. Imani Development has undertaken many financial and economic feasibility studies, particularly in the transport sector (covering road, rail, port and airport projects). Standard techniques of cost-benefit analysis are used, and the results are presented in the form of internal rates of return, net present values and benefit-cost ratios.
