CSR and Inclusive Business

While there is no fixed definition for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) it can be generally understood as a concept referring to the way in which companies exercise responsibility and accountability for the economic, social and environmental impact of their business decisions and behaviours. CSR in Africa is still a relatively new concept and the ways in which the private sector understands the social realities of their environment is important to defining their future success.

Imani is working on a number of CSR development initiatives to increase knowledge and develop new skills in the private sector in order to shift values and attitudes.
