Interning at Imani Development If you are a student in the final year of your masters in the field of development economics or a related discipline and are interested to get some practical hands-on experience in the field, then you could consider interning in one of our offices for between six and twelve months. Imani Development’s services are directed towards policymakers, the industrial, agricultural and commercial sectors, and development agencies. Therefore you might find yourself working in anyone of the following areas:
In Africa we have offices in Malawi, Mauritius, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe. We also have offices in Australia and the UK. The goal of the Internship Training Programme is to provide interns with an opportunity to gain first hand experience of the opportunities and challenges facing developing countries in the field of economic development. Over the period of the internship, interns will be trained in Imani’s operations as an economic and development consultancy firm. Interns will be directly involved in the following tasks:
This is a full-time programme. Interns will spend 5 days a week working at one of our Imani Development offices working on projects under the supervision of a professional member of staff. Conditions The company will give you an allowance sufficient to cover cost of food and lodging. You will be responsible for the cost of the air fare to and from the office where you will be based.
